Stream Mons

Stream Mons is a twitch integrated app where your chatters can catch mons and battle eachother!
This is a very early access build, but the basic features are already implemented.

Click the  twitch icon to integrate with your twitch channel.
In case you don't know how to get your OAUTH token,  this site can make you one. This feature will be automated in the future.

A tutorial is being made for this feature. In short, there's an .ase file you can also download that is the trainer/mon base. Note that the sprites should be in 64x64 and the animation pngs names needs to have the frame number as the end of the file name.

To begin creating mons and trainers, click on the  pencil button

When creating the states, you can either select the single folder where you find your state pngs or select the folder where the state folders are located (in the base case, the "Base" folder. Then the app will detect the state subfolders and try to automatically add the states.
The "is one shot" option determines whether the animation will play once (if tagged) or repeat itself (if not tagged)

The current commands accepted are the following:

• !catch will catch a random mon, be aware that there's a chance of not catching anything.
• !release [monname] will make your mon show on screen and follow you around.
• !retrieve will retrieve your current mon to your mon inventory
• !battle [username] will start a new battle on the center of the screen if both you and the username have mons following you. The winner gets experience.

This application is still a little baby, but the next steps are planned!

• Standalone Mon Creator! As the final twitch integrated app will be paid (a very accessible price obviously), artists won't need to pay to create mons and sell them. The standalone mon creator will be available for free so any artist can open custom mon and trainer sprites commissions!
• Helix integration! While the app authenticates with the helix api, the features are still hidden as i'm still working on them. When finished, the helix integration will make you able to set up some commands as custom point redeems, like catching a new mon and making a specific state play for everyone or just a single user.
• The monverse! This step counts on the amount of money i get as a revenue from this app. The monverse will be a server feature, streamers can choose to share their mons in the monverse or not. This will make chatters able to take their mons to other streams as well as making their own custom sprites to show up in other streams!
  Streamers connected to the monverse will see what their chatters have been catching on other streams.
• Companion twitch card app! This app will make easier to chatters to check the mons available to catch on a stream, as well as choose cool clothing addons to dress up their trainer avatars and check their mons.
• Standalone game! If the app's revenue is something nice, i am planning to make a standalone game to integrate with the monverse, players can battle, train and catch mons ingame and then show up their cool new mon in other streams!
